Effect of Fungicide Application for the Control of Apple Scab (Venturia inaequalis Cke. Wint.) in ‘Gala’ Apples

Evaluation of the effectiveness of the adjuvants Cytro and Samer in enhancing fungicide performance for the control of apple scab (Venturia inaequalis Cke. Wint.) in ‘Gala’ apples in São Joaquim, SC, during the 2015/16 season.

Fungicides were applied on: 10/03, 10/10, 10/17, and 10/24/2015.
Inc. = Incidence of apple scab on fruits (10/31/2015).
CI = Apple scab control index (%).
Average fruit weight (g) at thinning (10/31/2015).
Means followed by the same letter in the columns do not differ from each other by Duncan’s test (P = 0.05).

Conclusões:

A adição dos adjuvantes Cytro e Samer (30mL + 10mL/100L) melhoram significativamente o desempenho do fungicida Mancozeb 800 (200g/100L) no controle da sarna nos frutos da macieira.
Os adjuvantes Cytro e Samer, aplicados em mistura com os fungicidas Mancozeb 800 e Score são muito seguros, não aumentando a severidade de russeting e nem são tóxicos às plantas da cv. Gala.
